Another crazy and lovely day.

I'm sitting here filing paper work and figuring out how to best teach 3 grades at once and not lose my mind.  I hate Life of Fred Math books they are stupid and don't seem to teach math at all.  Easy Peasy and Mobymax are so ridiculously simple that they have my 5 year old almost in 2nd grade when she can't add anything bigger than 5 and has no clue about subtracting!  Don't get me wrong, I'm very proud of her and what she CAN accomplish but after taking a placement test that had her at 1.7 grade it makes me wonder because I would say shes no where near that. On the other hand my oldest is enjoying some evening studies as I am trying to cope with how well she studies in the evening compared to mornings.  It's awesome and annoying all in one! All the while my husband has been lost in another universe ever sense he let go of his tank (World of Tanks PC).  I'm sorry Destiny is the most boring game I have seen but when it's done I might get him the new Dragon Age update or maybe we can find something co-op.

When the day is done, it makes for perfect snuggle time.  Cold weather, warm drinks, blankets pillows and a few controllers.  Yep the love of my life.  Work hard, play hard! Enjoying the family life, just not the same as our parents (which is a good thing!)  Kids are in bed, stories read (thanks to a large library load!).  Promises of more read aloud time tomorrow.  Thank heavens we only do the library once a week as my 3 year old plays 'what aisle am I in now' and everybody searches for those missing library cards.  Cash and Carry shopping done and salads and sandwiches made for latter.  Laundry and dishes, then time to log off this contraption and out with my other half.  Good Evening y'all!
